Museum

The Ely House and Freight Station are the Hightstown-East Windsor Historical Society’s headquarters as well as a circa 1850 house, museum and library located on 164 North Main Street in Hightstown.  

Trained docents will be delighted to show you through the house or feel free to wander on your own with the docents available for questions.  While touring you’ll get a feeling of what it was like to live in the late 1800’s.  How they relaxed, how they entertained, and how they entertained themselves.
